Winter Cruiser Rally (08:00)
S.S.C Cruising - latest rallying call!

Dee and I look forward to seeing you this coming weekend (assuming we have
an engine that actually works properly!!!!).

Date: 27/28th March.

Host: Chris Jackman and Caroline Yantle

Destination: The Folly, river Medina (South of Cowes). Table booked for 8
p.m. for 12 people, though hopefully more (4 boats planning on attending
thus far).

Tides: Chris advises "We will be 'constrained by our draft' a bit,
especially at low water so we might arrive early or late. High water
Portsmouth Saturday is 0903 and on Sunday is 1047. ( clocks go forward an
hour so less time to get over the hangover ! ). It's pretty much a neap so
anyone with 6 feet or less draft will be fine at any state of the tide".

As an alternative if you need to hook up for electric or prefer to walk to
the loos rather than swim (only joking!) do join us at Island Harbour.
Leisurely walk of about 25 mins to the Folly.

Contact Chris by Wednesday 24th to advise if you are coming.

Regards

Julian Pomery
