Change 4 Life
We have registered our interest in the government's Change4Life programme. The programme will be launched durinf October and it remains to be seen hwo the club can fit in with the programme, but it is hoped that opportunities will be there for us to further our engagement with the local community. Watch this space for details and progress.

RYA Training Centre

Chris Waddington organised a visit by the RYA and we have a clear picture now of what we need to do to become a Training Centre. The progress will take about 3 years to complete but we can start running courses before completion if we use external instructors. Our first step has to be to get at least members with powerboat certificates to run the club rib. The proposal to achieve this has already been agreed by the committee and developing this will be a topic on the next committee meeting agenda.
